1,000+ clinical pathways,
right inside Relay.

Curbside Health publishes evidence-based pathways your team actually trusts — sepsis, appendicitis, DKA, airway, neonatal, OB, the whole library. Paste a Curbside link into a Relay card and it embeds live. No PDF chase, no broken links, no "ask Dr. So-and-so for the latest version."

How it works

Paste a link. That's it.

Relay recognizes Curbside URLs and turns them into a live link tile in the card. No SDKs, no special permissions, no extra account.

01

Find the pathway on Curbside

Curbside has 1,000+ pathways across emergency, peds, OB, hospitalist, neuro, ICU, and more — published and maintained by their clinical editorial team.

02

Paste the URL into a card

When you create or edit a Relay card, paste the Curbside link in the "Linked URL" field. Relay pulls the title, fav-icon, and resolves the live page.

03

It's live everywhere Relay is

The card appears on the wall TV, in the mobile feed, and behind the card's short-code QR. Tap on the phone and Curbside opens in-app — already on the right pathway.

Why it works

Not just a hyperlink. A live source of truth.

Always current

Curbside updates pathways centrally — the second a guideline changes, every Relay card that links to that pathway is showing the new version. No stale PDFs, no "v3 — actual final" renames.

Glanceable from the wall

The link tile on the wall card shows the Curbside favicon + the page title at a size you can read from across the room. People know what they're scanning into before they pick up their phone.

One scan to the right page

The card's QR opens the mobile detail view, which deep-links into Curbside Open. A nurse going to a sepsis call doesn't search a PDF — they scan and they're already at lactate timing.

Authored by clinicians

Curbside pathways are written and reviewed by domain specialists. You're not surfacing a binder photo from 2019 — you're surfacing the same pathway your colleagues at peer institutions are using.

No data leaves Relay

Relay stores only the URL and the page title. The pathway content itself lives on Curbside's infrastructure. No PHI, no API integration to maintain, no broken-when-they- update problem.

Free to read

Curbside Open pathways are publicly viewable — scanned QR codes don't require an account. Your night staff at 3am can read the pathway on their phone with zero friction.

The library

Pathways your unit references every week.

The Curbside catalog covers acute, hospital medicine, peds, OB, ICU, neuro, ID, and ambulatory workflows. Below are a handful of the ones our pilot sites pin to the wall most often.

Common questions

Do I need a Curbside Health subscription to use this?
No — Curbside Open pathways are free to read. If your hospital has a Curbside team license, those private pathways work too, and Relay respects the same auth.
Does Relay "own" the pathway content?
No. Pathways stay on Curbside. Relay stores the URL and a cached preview (title + favicon). When a clinician taps the card, they go to Curbside's live page. That's the whole point — there's no chance of an out-of-date copy lurking in Relay.
What about hospital-specific protocols that aren't on Curbside?
Upload them as PDF attachments on the card. Relay handles those alongside Curbside links seamlessly — clinical staff don't have to know which is which.
Will this work on a wall TV at the nurses' station?
Yes. The wall card shows the Curbside title + favicon at a size that reads across the room, plus the card's QR code. Anyone in the room can scan to open the live pathway on their phone.
How does this differ from emailing a PDF?
Three ways. Discoverability: the pathway is visible on the wall whether or not anyone opened the email. Currency: when Curbside revises the pathway, you don't have to re-email anyone. Audit: Relay records who acknowledged the card, so you know your team saw the update.

Twenty minutes. We'll pin two Curbside pathways your team references most and walk through how it shows up on the wall, the phone, and the audit log.
